1.General Description
UVOZ-200 OZONE DETECTOR is a microprocessor-based dual beam photometer(UV 254 nm) for measuring the ozone content in air or oxygen.
To evaluate the ozone content in the sample gas the UVOZ-200 OZONE DETECTOR measures the UV radiation in the measurement channel, the UV radiation in the reference channel, the temperature and the pressure in the cuvette.
The ozone analyzer has touch screen operation interface, which shows the real-time ozone concentration. And the touch screen is also with pressure & temperature compensation display. For the high concentration (g/Nm3) range, it has the function of flow input, which can display the output of the ozone generator in real time. The core component adopts long-life uv light system with the high light transmittance quartz to prevent zero drifting from affecting the detection accuracy. It's no need to close ozone inputing when zeroing to ensure the equipment can run continuously 24 hours.
The ozone concentration is displayed in either percent weight of ozone (%wt/wt), grams of ozone per normal cubic meter of sample gas (g/Nm3) or ppmv (AQ: g/m3 or ppm) on alphanumeric display. The concentration unit can be changed during operation.

2. Installation and Power Connection
For the sample gas connection 6 x 4 mm PTFE tubing should be used (which we will supply on request). The sample gas has to be connected via the sample gas filter ("IN"). The time lag of the concentration measurement depends on
a) the flow rate of the sample gas,
b) the length of the tubing to the analyzer,
c) the cross section of the tubing (we recommend tubing 6x4 mm, not more!),
d) the time lag of the analyzer itself. At the recommended flow rate of .2 to 1 l/min time lag will be 2 to 0.4 s with a 6 x 4 mm tubing length of 2 m.

5. The connection and process

(Note: It is recommended to use this connection process, separate sampling, and exhaust the atmosphere after passing through the ozone exhaust destruction device.)

(Note: When using this connection process, it is important to note that the pressure in the outlet pipeline of the ozone generator must be stable. The built-in pressure transmitter compensation will cause the detected ozone concentration value to fluctuate within a certain range.)
6. Product operation instructions
1Using condition
This analyzer is used for indoor installation and operation. It is recommended to preheat for 5 minutes and then calibration one time. It can be used online for 24 hours. Pls pay attention to safety of power and environment when using. It's equipped with will be adjusted according to the brightness of the light source. If zero deviation without ozone, you can manually zeroing to clean. Occasionally, zero deviation occurs, which can be ignored.
2Warning:
This ozone analyzer is used for indoor and the environment should be kept ventilated, dry, no other corrosive gases. Any problem caused by this condition is not within the free guarantee.
Clean and dry ozone gas must be guaranteed. If need detect the concentration of ozone gas in humid places or with oil, dust, filters and dehumidifiers must be installed at the inlet of the intrument. Otherwise any problem caused by this condition is not within the free guarantee.
It is strictly prohibited to connect the exhaust gas destroyer outlet to the main pipeline, and the exhaust gas must be emptied or destroyed.
If the instrumwnt is not used for a long time, it is necessary to electrify the heater regularly and store the instrument against moisture
Exhaust gas destroyer in the working state will be enthusiastic, It's strictly prohibit hand direct touching. Pay attention to the exhaust gas destroyer will be invalid if long-time in moisture insulation. If found the ozone gas overflow at the outlet, please contact the manufacture to replace it.
The inlet connection pipe should use the PTFE material.
The manufacturer's air filter can only filter dust particles. If user needs to detect the ozone gas with oil mist, water mist and other media, please contact the manufacturer in time to customise pre-treatment device.
3Operation instruction

Main display menu

"WORKING","LOADING" "ZEROING" and "ERROR" are displayed in the lower right corner of the main screen display interface.
WORKING: run test status
ZEROING: the instrument is in zero calibration operation
ERROR: ozone analyzer failure. Please contact the manufacturer in time.
LOADING:After the instrument is turned on, the hot machine displays the loading status

ZERO menu

The calibration mode is manual zeroing mode. When there is no ozone gas in the ozone gas concentration sensor, zero calibration can be performed. The instrument background will record the brightness of the ultraviolet LED during zero calibration. When the brightness of the ultraviolet LED deviates, the system will automatically correct the brightness of the ultraviolet LED, so that the zero point of the ozone gas concentration sensor is automatically adjusted within a certain range, effectively avoiding zero deviation.
The "Zero calibration once" button, when triggered, performs a zero calibration operation on the ozone gas concentration sensor [detector].
Attention needs to be paid: When calibrating the zero point once, ensure that there is no ozone gas in the ozone detection instrument.

SIGNAL menu

Users can set the ID address and baud rate of RS485 according to their usage.
For detailed RS485 communication protocol, please refer to the detailed commands in the communication instructions in section 4 of this manual.
The RS485 communication protocol follows the international standard MODBUS
SETTING menu

Users can set "temperature compensation" to bring values to "ON" and "OFF" locations which with ozone concentration calculations.
Users can set "pressure compensation" to bring values to "ON" and "OFF" locations which with ozone concentration calculations. This instrument pressure transmitter support pumping sampling and active pressure compensation.
Users can choose the unit as below according to the situation:
N & NTP is the same as the concentration of ozone at standard atmospheric pressure

g/Nm³	g/Nm³& g/m³NTP The two units express the same meaning
mg/NL	mg/NL& mg/L NTP The two units express the same meaning
%WT	1%WT(oxygen)=14.29 g/m³ ; 1%WT(air)=13.92g/m³

Additional explanation:
The units of g/Nm3,mg/NL,%WT mean the ozone concentration at the standard temperature ( 0ºC)and the standard pressure (101.325 KPa).

DATA menu

View the main screen of the parameter menu.
The data values in the parameter menu are the same as the parameter indicators used by the manufacturer's technical personnel to evaluate the performance of the ozone analyzer. This parameter page displays the various parameters of the dual path ultraviolet absorption ozone analyzer, used to determine whether the ozone analyzer is in normal detection and display status.
UVLED-R: the reaction is the UV light source in the absence of gas light intensity parameters.
UVLED-M: the light intensity parameter of UV light source after passing through the detection chamber (light cell).
DATA-ZERO and DATA-ABSR are a parameter data value obtained by ozone analyzer according to bill Lambert Law and program algorithm.
System status: "NORMAL" and "ERROR" can judge whether the ozone analyzer can work normally according to the calculation of instrument parameters.
The STAND value is the user's ability to recalibrate the ozone gas concentration sensor data based on changes in the current concentration.
The reference ratio reflects the intensity of the current ultraviolet LED light source when it has not been exposed to gas.
The reference value reflects the parameter of the illumination intensity of the ultraviolet LED light source without passing through gas during zero calibration.
Automatic adjustment function: The instrument background will record the brightness (reference value) of the ultraviolet LED during zero calibration. When the brightness of the ultraviolet LED deviates, the system will automatically correct the brightness of the ultraviolet LED, so that the zero point of the ozone gas concentration sensor is automatically adjusted within a certain range, effectively avoiding zero point deviation.
Debug menu(

The debug model menu is located at the bottom left of the display, which is the basic setting and adjustment parameters. Users should not try to enter the password menu. When the password error reaches a certain number, the instrument will automatically lock the blue screen.
Users can contact the local ozone supplier for debugging and service.

This operation background interface and settings can modify and modify the parameters of ozone analyzer, such as "concentration coefficient", "UV lamp brightness", "4-20mA value", "temperature", "pressure", "photoelectric receiver parameters", "correction value", "return to zero value".

The 4-20MA signal output is an active output. Users can directly access data acquisition equipment such as single chip computer or PLC. Never load voltage to the 4-20MA signal port.

7. The maintenance
In the normal using, the actual service life depends on the site environment. It is recommended to calibrate the analyzer once every 18 months by return factory (calibration is free, the user bears the return and transportation fee). In the harsh environment, it is recommended to calibrate the sensor once every 12 months to ensure the validity of the test data. Maintenance items as the following:
Whether there is leakage in the intake system; whether the gas connection pipe is worn; whether the connector is fastened.
There is no loosening or breakage of the power supply line and socket.
Whether there is leakage inside of the analyzer, whether can smell the ozone gas.
Other abnormal problem.
If any of the above problem occur, please inform the manufacturer as soon as possible.
8. The cautions
A. It is strictly prohibited to disassemble and assemble the equipment. The labels must be kept intact in use, otherwise there will be no guarantee.
B. The maintenance must have professional person to operate.
C. Do not arbitrarily disassemble, and avoid unnecessary damage when opening the equipment.
D. Keep the equipment clean, do not touch the screen with hard objects to prevent scratching the screen.
E. Turn off the power supply and prevent moisture when the equipment is close.
F. In case of abnormal situation, switch off the power supply & cut off the gas source immediately, and pls contact the manufacturer in time.

9. The storage
The instrument should be stored in a well-ventilated, dry and non-corrosive environment with ambient temperature of -10ºC~+40ºC,, relative humidity not exceeding 80%. The sampling gas with a relative humidity of not more than 80% , and the gas temperature should be of-50ºC~+80ºC.

10.Term of validity
The life of the product depends on the aging degree of the electronic device. After replacing the aging electronic device, the product can be used normally.
